Wonderful story — my wife is from a different culture, and while we don’t have an age gap, we’ve had other differences which have forced us to learn and grow (or spiral in misery).

I kind of suspect we land with the right people at the right time. Relationships bring out the worst in us at times, but it’s also the most powerful vehicle for self-discovery that I’ve ever found: anytime our relationship is not working is really just an opportunity to work on ourselves.
