The funny thing is, when you seek happiness, it doesn’t seem to exist.

When you let go of the seeking, and observe your thoughts, your thoughts slowly diminish, and you live with what is. Happiness arises naturally when the obsessiveness disperses — usually it’s the junk I’m holding on to — stress, resentment, anger, overwhelemed-ness, gossip, news, other people’s opinions, whatever — that hides the happiness within.
