That’s an interesting suggestion — but I think that hurts the airlines more than it hurts the government. Also, I believe that the more we travel and interact with other cultures, the more we realize that the hype about terrorism is more fear based and such problems are better solved through dialog and understanding than feeding the conflict with more conflict… so protesting travel might only feed the misunderstanding.

Of course, there is an argument that we could offset the potential environmental damage that might be caused by this administration by cutting down on flights… but solving a different problem for the wrong reason rarely leads to progress.
