I love your perspective. It occurred to me pretty quickly that the news was more about “shock about Trump”, than anything to do with Taiwan. Possibly about negotiation with China — but nothing about the encounter from Taiwan’s perspective.

I’ll never understood why I spent time reading news about some people being upset with a couple other people for making a phone call.

I’d much rather hear about Taiwan, (and the awesome stuff they make), and more writing like this about the history. But media has it’s own agenda, I guess.
