Agreed — it’s scary. I noticed this during the elections: you repeat something often enough, and people start believing it. That’s very similar to what happened to the Jews during WWII — they were labeled as the problem, and when the government started rounding them up and putting them in concentration camps, citizens didn’t resist.

Reading the news the past week, you would think terrorism was destroying the US. But in 2016, only 18 people were killed by terrorism. 800 times more Americans were killed by getting shot by another American (15,049 deaths). 1,600 times more were killed in car accidents (35,092 deaths). We need some serious perspective.

Politicians usually have an alternate agenda, and blaming another group for your problems is a powerful way to convince your followers you know what you’re doing.

It seems like every day there is something new which requires protesting… I don’t where to start!
